Can I book in without a referral?
Yes, we take bookings without a referral. We encourage everyone to be proactive about their health, if you feel our services would be helpful we would love for you to make a booking.
Do you offer discounts for pensioners and healthcare card holders?
Yes, we do. Just send us a message via the ‘contact’ tab to let us know that you are the holder of one of these and we will assist you with obtaining a discount.
Will you force me to eat foods I don’t like?
Absolutely not. We are here for you and will work with your dietary requirements and taste preferences.
What is involved in a consultation?
Initial consults run for approximately 50 minutes while follow-up consults run for approximately 30 minutes. During consults, I will get to know you and your needs and assist you to create a tailored nutrition plan.
Can I claim a rebate from Medicare?
Yes. If you have a valid referral from your GP, you may be able to claim a rebate ($60.35/session) for up to 5 sessions/year. After payment, you will be sent a valid invoice for claiming. You can then claim rebates online (via MyGov), by post using a claim form, or in person at a Medicare office. Please let me know if you intend to claim through Medicare.
Can I claim through my private health insurance?
Yes, if you have a level of coverage that includes dietetics. Please let us know if you need any assistance with claiming.
